Description

Alberta, Majestic

This is a conceptual piece highlighting some of the things that make Alberta one of the worlds greatest places to live.

Alberta is rich in natural resources. These resources help to drive its economy, which is still fairly solid despite today's economic situation. The landscapes are beautiful, broken up by new, clean, green bustling metropolises.

I tried to demonstrate many of these features throughout this piece while maintaining a progressive surrealist quality.
The monolith is in the shape of Alberta, with little features therein highlighting the things that make it so awesome.

And as always, find the man in the top hat and then help him find his dog.

The perspective you have achieved is great, everything appears to be in relevant size and not seemingly out of place. The 3D effect you have on the monolith is also done absolutely perfectly. I like the way you have also managed to use the effect of the shadow on the corn, which is minimal yet has a massive effect that pulls the whole scene together.

In terms of originality, this is truly original, you've chose really great ideas to portray and you have put them together perfectly, really creating an original world in its own.

I can see you have taken due care and attention when putting this together and this shows in the overall crisp finish of this piece, you have also placed all parts of this pic centrally and with depth.

Overall I think this is a really good piece of work and you have managed to really make an impact with your point... in terms or constructive criticism, I've just been looking for a long time, and cant see anything that needs fixing.. Great Work <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
